Thanks for the tips. Was wondering if the castle was worth the high fee or not! We will have to check out the park and botanic gardens if the weathers good.

I get museumed out pretty easily myself, but the camera obscura sounds like a good place to head the next time we’re in the city! Good list!

Edinburgh looks fantastic. The Fringe festival is almost certainly on my bucket list!

My then 10 year old daughter and I visited Edinburgh on our first vacation together across the Atlantic in 2013. We loved everything. The Edinburgh Castle was a great day. But, we visited the Children’s Museum twice. We would go back in a minute if we could.

I really like Edinburgh but haven’t spent enough time there, and the girls have never been-must rectify that! Camera obscura is defo on the list.

You don’t have to work hard to convince me – it’s definitely on my list! Our son visited Edinburgh several years ago and he raved about his experience. I look forward to the day, but there are SO many places to visit!

Man, there sure is! Every time I find one place to explore further I find several more.

My brother lives in Edinburgh, so I’ll have to get back there soon, it’s been a while. Great that you included a snippet on mobility issues.

I’ve put down the Scott Monument as a spot to see on my next trip.

Do you plan on climbing the almost 300 steps?

I loved Edinburgh so much! I want to go back. One of my favorite things was a night tour where we learned all the creepy stories.

I had some friends recommend one of the tours especially. but it isn’t something that would work out well for Tigger so we avoided it.
