Crabs wouldn’t stink if they are fresh, do they? Probably the smell of salt water. I usually see crabs sold in net bags or in basins but this is different AND its actually arranged, really good shot – something rare to my eye.
Dad: It wasn’t the crabs, it was the rest of the seafood in the area that had him pulling up his shirt to cover his nose. LOL It was a very unique arrangement to me as well. I had never seen them sold like this, and many of them were still moving which made it seem odder, especially since Cuenca is a few hours from the ocean.

Haha, good photo Tigger! I do like seafood but those crabs don’t look particularly appetising 😛

Tigger is not a fan of crab. Of course, he hasn’t tried it either. I, on the other hand, LOVE it. Even if they are stinky.

Oh my goodness. I don’t think stinky does that justice! Great shot, Stevie!

Crabs are just spiders with shells. The bad smell is simply evil seeping out.

A little sun, a little time. Yeah I can imagine those bad boys would be pretty ripe. They do make for a great picture though.

It wasn’t the crabs that stunk, it was the fish market.
