Always, ALWAYS, have your own TP. Rule #1. LOL

We lived on an oasis for 2 months so didn’t feel like we needed the whole desert camping experience, but I highly recommend it. It’s a rather unique experience that shouldn’t be missed.

The tea is AMAZING. We reproduce it whenever we possibly can. And it is always so much fun to eat with your hands. Just remember only the right hand goes to the mouth. 😀

Great info Talon, did you make it out to the desert at all? I can’t wait to experience the tea and the kids are excited about eating with our hands… that said, a little worried about the toilet paper thing LOL 🙂

Many travelers heading to Morocco love Moroccan food with tajines, brochette and cous cous. True is that after being in the country for while they get tajine out and love to eat something different. But part of Morocco authentic tour should be cooking class. Some of our clients advice us that they love the cooking class and being it highlight of their holidays in Morocco.
I am also surprise that you did not like Moroccan food.

In reply to Cassie. Considering we pretty much only ate at non-tourist places, I highly doubt that's the case. It's just not a very diverse cuisine. Morocco would be interesting for part of a tea travel for sure. Each region seems to prepare it a bit differently. I hope you go!

Interesting! I’m surprised about the food, though perhaps that’s because they are targeting the boring, tourist palate. I love the info on the tea preparation. I’ve got a dream of doing a tea-travel trip one day to visit traditional regions of tea consumption and Morocco’s certainly on the list.

Yeah, it’s good stuff for a few days, but after that it get boring. There just isn’t much variety in their dishes, and when you’ve spent your whole life in areas where there is diversity and choices for other types of ethnic foods, it’s tough after a while.

Mint tea I never got tired of, though. SO good!
