It reminds me a lot of the glasshouses in Kew Gardens in London – but possibly even more impressive!

I was pleasantly surprised as well. During summer there are even more activities which is really great for families. It was great to be able to take Tigger to places other than castles and cathedrals, both of which he is “over” now. lol

We haven’t been to Hungary yet, so I really can’t comment on that. Vienna was most definitely an unusual city in terms of all the palaces and grand buildings. It was quite stunning to walk around and be surrounded by all these amazing edifices!

I didn’t realize there was so much to do with kids in Vienna, I was there many years ago and probably for too short to get to know the city better.

Great list of places to keep the whole family entertained! Indeed, on the surface Vienna seems to be stiff and not child friendly. I’d also include Hundertwassarhaus on the list, which is a fun place for kids as well.
