That is great that kids are often welcomed with some people. I am travelling next year through UK/Europe and plan to get over to Hungary as well… and am hoping to find some HelpX spots along the way with 2 girls – 9 and 12 – will find out whether a mum and 2 girls cam manage to join the system too!

I agree with Sarita that they should have an ‘accept kids’ question on there so travelers with children could go. I think it is one of the best ideas and sites ever.. When I first joined there were 4 hosts in Thailand – now there are over 60.. It is growing and huge here in New Zealand where I currently live..

There was even a great one for bloggers/writers on Koh Samui once, where you worked 4 hours per day working on a web site for some guys. You never know what you will find.. As for Scuba divers, never seen but seen plenty of boats! Email you a host on FB you might like…

It’s up to the individual hosts, but many of them welcome children. A lot of the hosts are families so appreciate the idea of other kids being around as well. So far I’ve only had a few turn us down because of a child, and most of the time it was because of having hazards or insurance restrictions.
