A lot of the shops do close kind of early. I hope you enjoyed your visit there! It is a great city.

HA! In America, it’s a soccer court or field. I thought court might be wrong to use with football but wasn’t sure. I’ve heard pitch all the time! /facepalm

The park had SO much to offer and we agreed returning in the summer to spend a leisurely day in the park would be grand. Lawn bowling, tennis courts, playgrounds, cafes, museums, fountains, and on and on. The only option we had was to walk the perimeter of the park and even in the dead of winter it was still so pretty. So, I understand your day in the park!
