I like your description about the kitchen. While looking for a rental in Bali we were surprised to see the differences in the definition of a “kitchen” – at one place it was a counter and a sink in a hotel style room. Can’t imagine what I would have been able to cook in there. We found a great place though with only a fridge, sink, microwave, and a kettle. They added a gas stove top, pots and pans, etc. All we had to do was ask! We can actually cook here!

In reply to Agness. Well, I actually don't recommend it. LOL I think you can find equally good accommodations elsewhere on the island AND be closer to the things you want to do at cheaper prices.

In reply to Ali. Oh yes. The room was really quite nice, and the area is quiet. Those were all definite positives. The breakfast great and staff were extremely friendly. But for a similar price, it might be a good idea to go elsewhere. Especially if you don't have your own transportation.

Sounds like a reasonable review to me. Wifi is extremely important to many but for some people it’s not major. I would be nervous about the unidentified employees and luggage situation too, but that seems like something they could easily fix. But it sounds like you had a decent amount of positive experiences as well.
