Thankfully, everywhere I’ve traveled people have distinguished the difference. I remember one time when I traveled somewhere and they found out I was from the US. They said, “We don’t like your President Bush, but we love Americans.” I told him he wasn’t alone. lol

I’ve spent a lot of time there over the last few years. Winters are cold, but not ridiculously cold, and the snow makes it all look amazing.

It’s a perfect base in Europe.

I remember people asking me before I went to Argentina if I’d feel comfortable there, and I really didn’t get why. “Because of the Falklands!” they’d say. Whatever. I wasn’t responsible for that mess; not my fault, so why would I feel uncomfortable? It’s a shame so many people still are not quite fully able to distinguish between the people and the governments.
