OH! LOL I had a string of spam before your post so I was thinking oh come on dude! 🙂 We took several other trips while there and didn’t have this kind of luck again, so that was a relief. Then again I paid a little extra for the nice buses. Makes all the difference in the world. Worth every stinking penny. LOL

I’m trying to move a bit further away from transcription and just focus on writing, but I’ve definitely seen the value of having a diverse income flow. So important, especially when you’re doing this kind of life!

Thanks for that. No it was my bad attempt at a joke. It sounded like you had a rough time of it, so I was saying, by comparison, traveling in Thailand seems a lot easier – traveling in Thailand can be challenging – but I didn’t have any experiences quite as bad as yours there in Honduras.

Interesting how you fund your travels – sounds like you have a multiple income stream thing going on there – good idea.

I think there’s some confusion. This article is about traveling in Honduras which is quite different from traveling in Thailand.

As for funding my travels, sometimes I work as a dive instructor. Otherwise, I mostly earn it through writing and medical transcription.

I’m curious – you mentioned “work”. How do you fund your travels? Do work remotely or something? I guess you also get paid as a diving instructor too – is that your main source of income?

Interested in how you generate income as that seems to be the biggest challenge to me.
