Agadir and Marrakech both have nice all-inclusives. Agadir has an advantage in that you can stay seaside. Essaouira is one of my favorite spots, and there are some all-inclusive/resort-type places there as well.

For a good time of Moroccan life, I would look at the rural places. I really enjoyed Guelmim, and you can stay in some places on the oasis Tighmert which is about 15 km away. It’s also called the Gateway to the Sahara, so you can make some trips into the desert and have that experience. On Saturday is the camel market in Guelmim which is really an interesting experience.

Hi and thank you for all the info you’ve posted. My family, boy 13 girl 9, and husband have travelled the world for 8.5 month and we have 2.5 month left. At the moment we’re on Kauai, and we want to go the Asian way headed back to Norway. I see you have a good idea about what Morocco is all about, and we want to stay there the last month, in June. And split the month in two, with first part exploring and advetures in the moroccan way of life and the last two on kind of a holiday/resort/all-inclusive or something, to relax the last part of the journey. Where do you think would be a good combination for us to stay? Really appreciate your reply:) warm regards Maria
