Ever since we began our journey, Tigger has been gung-ho to take surfing lessons. Cozumel’s waves were great for body surfing and Boogie boarding, but that was about it. Utila . . . stick with diving there. So once we were in Ecuador and I discovered their coast had good surfing, we headed there to make Tigger’s wish come true. Here he is riding in after his 2nd lesson. I love the look of concentration and the slight smile on his face. He’s a natural.

It was a lot of fun to watch him. So now we have to add a surfing to our list of requirements for when we decide to settle down for a longer period of time.
